SOUND DESIGN

I’m a sound designer for long form narrative/ investigative podcasts, with 5+ years of professional experience via CBC Podcasts and CBC News. 

I approach my work with “sonic empathy” - I pay careful attention to the way music and sound effects affect how we interpret stories. My mixes are thoughtful, immersive, and as a musician, quite musical. 

I double as a sound engineer - my ears are equally technical as they are emotional. My mixes are meticulously edited, patiently denoised, EQ’d, and compressed, and diligently mixed to a target loudness.
